A brow lift, also called a forehead lift, rejuvenates the face above the eyes to restore a more refreshed appearance. By removing excess sagging skin on the forehead and repositioning the underlying muscles and tissues, a brow lift can correct a heavy, sagging brow and restore a smoother, more youthful contour to the upper-third of the face.

BROW LIFT PROCEDURE

There are different techniques for this surgery.

An endoscopic brow lift requires a series of very short incisions just behind the hairline, repositioning the muscles and lifting underlying tissues of the forehead, removing excess fat and tissue.

A temporal or limited incision brow lift involves longer incisions than an endoscopic brow lift.

BROW LIFT RECOVERY

This is an outpatient procedure using general anesthesia or IV sedation with local anesthesia. Swelling and bruising are common for about two weeks; you can usually return to work after one week.

BROW LIFT RESULTS

A brow lift improves the forehead and above the eyes, giving you a smooth, youthful look, and should last for years.

RISKS OF A BROW LIFT

As with any surgery, there are some risks involved. Your doctor will explain these to you during your consultation.
