Clinical skin care treatments are used to treat a variety of skin conditions. Anti-aging, expression lines, acne, dehydration, rosacea and sensitized skin treatments are all administered in a relaxing atmosphere and supervised by the physicians in our Long Island office at Cosmetic Surgery of New York. Our clinical treatments utilize products available to physicians’ offices only. These products have a higher concentration of ingredients and effective delivery systems that will improve the overall health of your skin and slow the aging process. An effective skin care regimen is also necessary to pre-condition your skin for surgical procedures and is also used to maintain the results of your surgical procedure.

Laser Treatments utilizing Syneron eMax Technology – Elos is an electro-optical non-invasive synergy treatment that can be used for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, treating of brown spots and broken capillaries, acne, acne scarring, skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, dermal remodeling, leg veins and vascular lesions. Clinical Skin Care Treatments

Microdermabrasion/Parisian Peel

Treat and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne, acne scars, unwanted pigmentation and other superficial skin conditions. This non-invasive treatment uses airflow of tiny crystals combined with mild suction to exfoliate dead skin from the epidermis. The suction stimulates the natural collagen and introduces oxygen back into your skin.

Ultra C Microdermabrasion

Hydrates and firms the skin. Microdermabrasion is used in conjunction with Vitamin C, which is applied with ultra sound to penetrate the skin. This targets the damage from sun exposure, poor diet, smoking and daily stress-elements which can trigger the release of “free radicals” causing premature aging of the skin. This is especially important for those cells producing collagen. The naturally super-charged antioxidant of Vitamin C supports skin’s natural metabolism.

Obaji Blue Peel

TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) This peel is excellent for tightening skin, thereby reversing skin’s laxity. In addition, it helps improve blackheads, acne, hyper-pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, shallow stretchable scars and large pores.

Glycolic Peel

Micropigmentation/Permanent Make-up
